Dive in a Tropical
PARADISE
Come on our Vanuatu trip in November, and dive the fabulous SS President Coolidge.

Our next trip away will be to Vanuatu to dive the wreck of the SS President Coolidge, in November this year. The President Coolidge was a 198m luxury ocean liner that was commandeered in WWII as a troop carrier. On the 26th October 1942, laden with the machinery of war and 5092 officers & troops, the Coolidge hit a series of mines as it approached Espirito Santo. The ship was run aground and all possessions and machinery were abandoned as all but two men escaped the sinking ship.
These days, The Coolidge is the largest accessible shipwreck in the world. Lying in 22 - 70m of clear calm water, divers have the opportunity to explore the ship, visting, amongst many areas, the Promenade Deck, the Doctors Quarters, the Engine Room, the Pool, the Galley and the famous “Lady”. During these dives you may pass through the first class lobby, the library, the barber shop or the cargo holds. The whole ship contains wartime equipment & artifacts but its also full of the beautiful fittings and amenities that you'd expect from a luxury ocean liner.

Loads of fun!!!! Our trip is taking place 20-27 Nov 2009 and costs $1980 for 7 nights at Aore Island Resort. It includes 10 dives, airfares and breakfast daily. If you’d like to know more contact the shop and we’ll email a brochure with all the details.
